Dynamic Rock Support AS is a spin-out from the NTNU - the Norwegian University of Science and Technology - and was founded in 2008. In 2009, the company was funded by the investors Proventure Seed AS and Salvesen & Thams in Norway. The company's main focus is on providing reliable products that ensure safety and gives cost savings for underground mines. Our products can also be applied in tunnels, construction and other areas.

VP Sales North America
Mr. Michael Hill is DRS’ sales representative in Canada, based in Sudbury, Ontario. Michael has more than 20 years experience from field management roles, including technical sales and product training as well as customer care. Michael comes from a technical sales position in Mansour Mining, and has also worked with Ontario Concrete Pumping and Maytag. Mr. Hill is very dedicated to customer satisfaction and is overseeing all DRS´marketing, sales and customer care in North America.

VP North America
Mr. Charette is DRS’ representative in Canada, based in North Bay, Ontario. Francois has 25 years experience from the ground support business, working with companies such as CANMET, Atlas Copco and DSI. Mr. Charette has designed, tested and sold ground support products since the 80’s, and is very familiar with the challenges in underground mines in Canada.

VP Australia
Mr Walley is heading up our Australian subsidiary; Hugh has been involved with the metalliferous mining industry for the majority of his working life and understands and appreciates the difficulties that are associated with mining in Australia, Hugh’s previous experience includes Goldfields Regional Manager for Rock Australia and Western Area manager for Strata Control Systems. Hugh is very supportive of his customers and looks forward to meeting and assisting them in the future in whatever capacity he has at his disposal.

VP Engineering & Production
Mr. Skogseth is responsible for the value chain, production and logistics in Dynamic Rock Support. Previous to joining DRS, Trond held the position as head of Deck Machinery Operations at Rolls Royce Marine, and was Site Director for Brattvaag. Skogseth’s extensive industrial experience also includes 6 years as Production Director with Pipelife.

Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Li is the inventor of the D-Bolt and serves as the CTO of Dynamic Rock Support. Charlie has extensive experience from the mining industry, mainly from the Swedish mining company Boliden, and he is currently professor at the NTNU – the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
